Design Intent
Design and build an end table with plenty of storage for personal items as well as enough counter space to hold items such as a phone, a lamp and food.

Design Inspiration
Inspired by the simple end tables of ikea, with both shape and quality.
Should be able to fit with the themes of most homes, and not disrupt the flow
Must be both sturdy and durable to hold personal items and small novelties
Materials
Soft maple as the base, middle and top, for its nice light look and durability.
Dark walnut as the legs to contrast the soft maple, while still being sturdy enough to support the table.

Project Brief
To make an End table with plenty of storage for personal items as well as enough counter space to hold items such as a phone, a lamp and food.
Must be made only out of wood and use joints to connect the pieces
Should be visually apealing while serving it’s primary functions
