A planetary themed lamp with hanging comets and a giant planet, this lamp is great for any desk or shelf to light up your room
Design Inspiration
Took inspirations from the solar system and rotating objects around a giant star
Want to have objects such as shooting stars, comets or asteriods floating around the center.
Want the light to still be visiable through the gaps of the floating objects.

Initial cardboard model for form exploration.
1st built 3d printer model with no light.
When turned on the the Orb is a bright yellowish color like the sun.
Project Brief
To make an at home lamp designed for kids to light up their rooms.
Should be visually apealing while serving it’s primary function.
Has to fit on a desk, shelf or nightstand.
Must be battery powered with two AA batteries
